SOP for Closed Testing Applications
Objective:
To successfully conduct closed testing of GyannApp Class 10 guide applications for a minimum of 14 days with at least 15 active testers, as per Play Store requirements.
Testing Period:
Minimum of 14 consecutive days.
Start Date: Upon inviting testers.
End Date: After completing the 14 days with continuous feedback.
Team Structure:
Testing Team Lead: Content Lead
Testers: Minimum 15 testers (opted-in through Google Play Closed Testing).
Responsibilities:
For Testers:
Opt-in to the closed testing program using the provided Playstore link.
Use the apps daily for 14 days.
Test thoroughly for:
- App functionality
- UI/UX issues
- Content errors (typos, wrong answers, formatting)
- Performance issues (crashes, slow loading)
Report every issue and suggestion:
- Post in the designated Discord voice/text channel daily.
- Clearly mention app name and problem.
Mandatory:
- Report at least one feedback (issue/suggestion) per day if any.
- Be Active: Engage in the voice channel if clarification is needed.
For Developer Team:
- Monitor Discord feedback regularly.
- React to messages once issues are fixed.
- Push updated apps to the Playstore daily after fixes.
For Content Team:
- Fix content-specific issues (spelling, wrong data, missing content).
- React to the message once corrected.For Testing Lead (Ganesh Parajuli):
- Verify every fixed issue before deletion.
- Delete only solved issues from Discord after verification.
- Maintain a record of feedback and resolutions for Playstore compliance.
Important Rules:
- No fake activity — testers must genuinely test.
- Daily deployment wherever possible.
- Do not delete feedback messages until verified.
- Respect all testers' feedback, even minor ones.
Target: Minimum 14 days consistent testing with active feedback.
